Well-known badminton player Jwala Gutta says she is open to acting in films. The half-Andhra, half-Chinese beauty, who is currently preparing for London Olympics, says she would gladly accept offers for roles in movies.

The 1st women doubles pair to win a bronze medal in world championships 2011, Jwala says she would especially like to act opposite Prabhas, who is her favorite hero. “He looks like a typical South Indian hero, and I am a fan,” Jwala, who is in Delhi to participate in the promotional program of Yonex-Sunrise Indian Open Badminton.

The left-handed player, however, wants the hero to be taller than her. “Otherwise, I would look like hero,” she joked.

One of the best women’s doubles badminton players produced by India in recent times, Jwala wants to make a mark at the India Open. Jwala was married to Arjun awardee Chetan Anand, but divorced him in 2011.
