Tara Chowdary who was arrested on charges of forcing a girl into prostitution got bail. She has been lodged in Chanchalguda jail for the last 60 days.
The Banjara Hills police who have been investigating her case released salacious details of her sex scam to the media which almost celebrated Tara as the very personification of all that is wrong with prostitution.
Tara was not only accused of running brothels, but was charged with filming movie and political celebrities having sex with girls provided by her. The media had a field day speculating on actors and politicians who could have been Tara’s customers.
As Tara gets bail, the media and the police seem to have lost the connecting threads in the case. Since her arrest, no VIP got arrested, no scandal really got busted despite all that hullabaloo.
