Undaunted by successive failures in courts, the Jagan camp is back in action. Y S Vijayamma has filed a petition in Supreme Court on Friday making a plea against the Andhra Pradesh High Court judgement on Chandrababu Naidu.

The YSR Congress Party honorary president sought a direction from the apex court for a CBI inquiry against Naidu and 17 others including Ramoji Rao.

A bench headed by Justice Rohini of AP High Court had quashed the single judge bench order for the CBI inquiry into charges of misuse of power leveled by Vijyamma in her petition.

In her latest petition, Vijayamma explained in 14 pages the reasons for making such a plea. She alleged that she had raised doubts about the impartiality of Justice Rohini, but still the Justice went ahead and delivered the verdict.

The court will take up the petition after the summer vacation.
