Venugopalachary

Why is Dr S Venugopalachary, who almost defected to TRS from TDP, filing cases after cases against Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy?

A little birdie tells us that this new-found animosity against the CM did not spring out of the MLA’s love either for Telangana cause or for any other public issue. It is purely a result of being scorned by Kiran over granting a personal favour.

Venugoplachary had filed a case in AP High Court arguing that the Kiran Kumar Reddy government was reduced to minority and praying the court to direct the Governor to ask the CM for a floor test. The case was dismissed.

Now, the Mudhole MLA once again approached the Supreme Court in the same case. He filed a special leave petition that Kiran was continuing as Chief Minister without the support of the majority in the Assembly. The petition is posted to December 9 for hearing.

TDP in any case is giving a notice to the Speaker for a no-confidence motion in the Assembly. Then why is Venugopalachary bent on going to the courts?

The former TDP MP apparently wanted to start an engineering college in Bhainsa but the CM has not responded positively. Peeved over Kiran’s refusal, Venugopalachary is trying to take on him in courts!
