The ‘popular’ filmy couple Jeevitha and Rajasekhar are all set to join BJP. Yes, at last they have found a party that was willing to welcome them. The duo will formally join the party in the presence of BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu.
From TDP to NTR TDP to Congress to YSR Congress, the couple have had a long but uneventful innings in a long list of parties. Their major contribution to political discourse has been deriding Chiranjeevi and his Praja Rajyam Party.
After being conveyed they were unwelcome in YSR Congress Party, the couple initially dilly-dallied over prospects in TDP. Chandrababu was apparently not as warm as they expected.
So finally Jeevitha and Rajasekhar have found BJP as their destination. Whether the couple, who are going through a bad patch in film career, can make any difference to the saffron party’s prospects in the state is tobe watched.
