Bollywood megahit 3 Idiots is now remade in Tamil as Namban. Directed by Shankar, the film has Vijay in the character played by Aamir Khan. True to Shankar’s larger than life style, Nanban is very different from Three Idiots in scale and conception and is full of Tamil flavour.
Nanban is being released in Telugu as Snehithudu.
Ilenna is playing Kareena Kapoor in the film, releasing on Pongal worldwide. Rangam fame Jeeva is playing one of the two friends of Vijay. Mahesh Babu was initially to play hero of this bi-lingual film, but latter he backed out of the project.
Nanban (Snehithudu in Telugu) latest stills have the stamp of Shankar all over them.
