Brazilian-Indian model Nathalia Pinheiro was crowned the Kingfisher Calendar Girl 2012. Born in Rio de Janeiro, the 21-year-old Pinheiro won the title defeating 15 models from across the country.
“I loved the entire experience of the talent hunt. Though the competition was a bit tough this time, I made a few friends during the journey. Also, the platform made me a strong individual. I am overjoyed with the entire experience of participating to winning the crown,” she told reporters.
Pinheiro, who is also a trained opera singer, said: “I love enjoying my life to the fullest and believe in living for the moment rather than thinking about the future.” For the last six months, Pinheiro has been living in Mumbai. She was the first one from her family to enter the glamour world.
