Ram Charan Teja gave the clap for NTR’s new film Badshah, which was launched in Hyderabad on Sunday. The film is to be directed by Srinu Vaitla, whose Dookudu with Mahesh created waves at the box office.
Srinu Vaitla is known for making engaging and gripping entertainers, which NTR badly needs a this juncture. “The script has come out very well and we hope to live up to expectations,” Srinu said.
Kajal Agarwal is paired opposite NTR.
Besides Ram Charan, the guest list for the occasion included hero Venkatesh, director Rajamouli and Nagababu. Thaman is scoring for the film. The regular shooting of Badshah is scheduled from April 20.
After the program, Charan invited NTR to go along with him in his car. “Sure, are you driving,” NTR asked and left in his car. The bonhomie was a pleasant surprise, considering that the young scions belonged to different and opposing political strands.
