The Kolaveri Di film 3 is set for a release on March 30 in Tamil and Telugu. The film and its hero Dhanush became an instant hit with the entire country as his Why this Kolaveri Di went viral, creating a record for the number of hits on launch.
There is a great amount of interest on how the craziest number was actually picturized in the film, directed by Dhanush’s wife Ishwarya, who is Rajinikanth’s daughter. The film was produced by Kasturi Raja, Dhanush’s father.
The Telugu rights of the film, in which Kamal Hassan’s daughter Shruti Hassan was cast opposite him, were bought by producer Natti Kumar.
In view of the countrywide popularity gained by the song and the film, the producers are releasing the film in Hindi too.
