Did Chandrababu Naidu smuggle illicit liquor through his Heritage company vans from other states? The Congress Ministers Raghuveera Reddy and Sailajanath accused him of illicit liquor trade during prohibition days when the TDP was in power.
They were reacting to Naidu’s criticism earlier lampooning CM Kiran Kumar Reddy as a smuggler. Alleging Kiran family’s role in smuggling red sanders and coal, the opposition leader made these sharp comments.
Taking on Naidu, the Congress Ministers including Kondru Murali, Kanna Lakshminarayana and Sridhar Babu said that Kiran’s family had been in politics for more than four decades and enjoyed a clean image.
“How could Chandrababu, who indulged in smuggling of liquor from border states in his Heritage Diary vans could make such accusations against Kiran,” they wondered.
