While YSR Congress Party is weakening day by day, the almost dead Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh is trying to resurrect itself. And the party has made 1-2 percent progress. This is the assessment of Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.
Addressing the TDP Coordination Committee meeting in Vijayawada, Naidu said the Congress would not be able to sustain the tempo, and the leaders too are unorganised, and are looking sideways.
He advised TDP leaders to attract such leaders at the state, district and village level into TDP. The Congress Party chief in AP Raghuveera Reddy has been valiantly trying to revive the party by touring all across the state, but with little success.
The TDP chief also expressed dissatisfaction at the functioning of the party district leaders. “The district presidents are behaving like on-lookers with no coordination among various groups in the district,” he said.
He is obviously referring to the recent fracas that erupted between Minister Ravela Kishore and ZP chairperson Janimun in Guntur district.
