Fresh from the success in Kovur, YSR Congress Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy is confidence personified. Attacked for making tons of money through corruption, Jagan is now challenging to prove his role in corruption. He even claims that when elected Chief Minister, he would ensure that corruption has no place in the state.
Speaking at a meeting in Chilakaluripet in Guntur district on Wednesday, Jagan said his party would win as many as 35 seats in the next Parliament elections. “God willing, I will have agriculture and railway ministries at the centre for our state,” he gushed.
Jagan launched a counterattack on Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that it was the TDP chief who was corrupt to the core. “How did you make so much money? How could open Heritage shops in every state,” he questioned.
Stating that Kovur would repeat in all future elections in the state, he said his party would sweep the state because he did not bow before the Delhi leaders, unlike Chandrababu who secretly met Chidambaram to save his back.
