Senior politician JC Diwakar Reddy always makes news with his statements. That is because he is a man who says what he thinks without any hypocrisy.
Speaking at the public meeting organised during the inauguration of Muchumarri lift irrigation in Kurnool, the MP wondered why Reddys were supporting YSR Congress Party leader Jagan Mohan Reddy. It is NTR, Chandrababu Naidu and former irrigation expert Sri Ramakrishnaiah who worked hard to provide water to Rayalaseema, he said.
“What will you get with these caste feelings? We have been Congressmen for generations. But I joined TDP because Chandrababu is so earnest about developing Rayalaseema,” he added.
He also rebuked Jagan for opposing Pattiseema project. “Not even an ignorant fellow will oppose a project that brings water to Rayalaseema, but Jagan did it,” he said.
All through his speech, Chandrababu Naidu who was also on the podium was seen smiling away.
