Kiran and Chandrababu never exactly liked each other in the past. But due to a quirk of fate, both of them had to be easy on each other since Kiran became the CM due to a variety of factors including Jagan and Telangana.
So much so that Jagan and TRS even accused both of entering into an unholy nexus in recent times.
But today’s spat between them on the first day of the winter session of the Assembly revived old enmity between them. Both Kiran and Naidu, hailing from Chittoor district, had a heated debate on the way the House was to be run.
Kiran accused Babu of being uncouth and ‘inhuman’ not allowing condolence motion over the demise of Mahbubnagar MLA Rajeshwar Reddy. Chandrababu was equally vehement demanding that the notice for No-Confidence motion be adopted by the House first.
“TDP is behaving like a quintessential opposition and I wish it continues to be in opposition for all times to come,” Kiran said sarcastically.
The wordy duel reminded one of the days when YSR and Babu locked horns in a very personal way during the last government. Babu, apparently a little cut up with the Congress government following the CBI inquiry against him, will try his best to give a tough time to the ruling party in the next four days.
