TRS is making all out efforts not to allow proposed Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to Warangal go without a hitch on January 6. Prof Kodandaram called on all JACS to organize protests during the TDP chief’s visit.
Namaste Telangana is publishing various anti-TDP and anti-Chandrababu stories to rake up emotions against the party. For example, the Wednesday edition of the paper devoted almost two full pages including the banner story to dig out the TDP rule for nine in the state and call it the worst period for the state.
TDP is also equally determined to go ahead with the visit, come what may. The party leaders from Telangana are also making tough statements. While Motkupalli Narasimhulu released an eight-page letter to KCR questioning his credentials, Kothakota Dayakara Reddy warned that if Babu’s visit to Warangal were to be disrupted, KCR would not be able to enter Mahbubnagar.
While TRS is making concerted attempt to create trouble during Babu’s visit, Jagan is all set to tour Telangana from January 10 onwards. It will be interesting to see how TRS and other hardcore Telangana activists would react to his Odarpu Yatra.
