Once a leading light of Telangana movement, Prof M Kodandaram now finds himself being cornered by the ruling TRS party from all sides. His every move is being effectively curtailed by the ruling establishment.
TRS leaders are openly denouncing Kodandaram even if he as much as opens his mouth against KCR’s government. TRS MP Balka Suman recently went to the extent of saying that Kodandaram’s role in separate state agitation was nominal. Presently, he is being dubbed as Congress agent.
“The TRS cadre will not keep quiet, if Kodandaram tarnished our government’ image. They will teach him a befitting lesson,” warned the TRS MP.
Having been prevented by the police to carry out his agitation program at Indira Park on victims of land acquisition, Kodandaram is protesting from his home. “We never imagined that even Kodandaram would have to face such a humiliation,” said TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy.
Once the front for TRS in TJAC, Kodandaram now is a persona non grata in the new state. Things have indeed come full circle for the professor!
