Vidya Balan is now a Khan in Bollywood with The Dirty Picture minting money for Ekta Kapoor. And turning the fulsome beauty the most sought after heroine at present.
Even as she is having the best of her times, a publicity-crazy advocate in Hyderabad filed a case in court alleging that the posters of the film were obscene. The court directed the Nallakunta Police Station to register a case against Vidya Balan, director Milan Luthria and producer Ekta Kapoor.
The advocate Sai Krishna Azad is one of many lawyers in Hyderabad who don’t miss a chance to grab TV coverage. Azad doesn’t leave an opportunity to hit the media glare, and the latest case is also intended at his name being featured in media.
Azad’s cases range from pro to against various political leaders including Chandrababu and Jagan – on various issues that others might call frivolous. Not many of his ‘public interest’ cases have reached the logical end.
The latest case against Vidya Balan is a success for Azad with the court ordering registration of cases, and the media taking due cognizance of the development with Azad’s name being prominently mentioned in all reports.
If Vidya were to come to appear in the court in Hyderabad at a later date in regard to the case, Azad would be on cloud 9, as that would give him his 15 minutes of fame!
