Murphy’s Laws on Tollywood:
1) To err is human. To err consistently is entertainment.
2) Heroes are inherited. Heroines are imported (from Mumbai).
3) No hero agrees to be paired with a heroine unless she is half his age minus 5.
4) Knowledge of Telugu is prohibited for the following: Hero, Heroine, Lyricist and Music Director.
5) “Success Meets”: Events organized a day before the movie release.
6) Audio Release Functions: Where songs are publicly declared a hit.
7) Script Writers are categorized under “Extras”.
8) Stupidity of the content is directly proportional to the weight of the film’s star cast.
9) Fan clubs are gender-specific. No heroine is allowed to have them.
10) Pre-release media appearances of heroes: Where interviewer is allowed the luxury of praising him but not asking questions.
11) Box office collections of a big starrer can be gauged from claims of a rival star’s fan clubs.
