Nagarjuna Akkineni is the real businessman in film industry. After dabbling in hospitality, television and media, Nag now has set his eyes on providing the best studio facility in this part of the country.
On Saturday, he unveiled five top-of-the-line floors built at a cost of Rs 100 crore at Annapurna Studios. The facility, dubbed as Asia’s modern climate controlled movie production studio, will have fully-equipped make-up rooms with five-star luxury, dance rehearsal facility, canteen and alternative power facility.
With this modernization, 60 percent of which has already been completed, the floors are going to come back in fashion, Nagarjuna said. The film maker, who put in Rs 25 crore with the rest of the money coming from a consortium of banks, said that he hopes by next fiscal, a turnover of Rs 45-50 crore is expected on the new facility.
