KCR’s gift for the gab is legendary. He has a talent for keeping the people of Telangana in thrall. His words mostly dont’ come true, but he can still convince people of the future as imagined by him.
His latest peep into the times beyond is that next Christmas will be celebrated in Telangana state. That literally means 2012 December. Every one knows for sure that nothing will move in the direction of a separate state till 2014, when next Assembly polls are scheduled.
KCR himself appeared compromised on the future, considering that he is more interested nowadays with adding more MLAs to his party than engaging in any ‘struggle’. Besides, KCR said the same thing – of the impending Telangana state – umpteen number of times without any outcome.
The latestinfo is that the UPA government will formally make its stand clear on Telangana in the new year- that bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh is not possible given the lack of consensus on the issue within the state.
Even then, KCR is bindaas when he declares nonchalantly that come 2012, Telangana is formed. Harish Rao also joined the chorus declaring in Mahbubnagar that next Xmas would be celebrated in Telangana state.
