Of all the leading stars in Tollywood, NTR has all the ingredients of a mass hero. Few heroes in our industry can carry their image with such panache as Tarak. Other top rung heroes with mass image such as Ram Charan Teja, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Aravind besides Venkatesh and Nagarjuna are not known to carry that mass flavour in their audio functions or 100 days celebration events.
Face to face with public or fans, most of the heroes feel a little inhibited and shy. While they try to convey their feelings, they don’t really pep up the audience mood the way NTR does.
In the latest Dammu audio function too, NTR was at his best in displaying his mass heroism. Just like senior NTR, Tarak tries to make an emotional appeal to the audience. Raising the pitch in his voice and turning his face expressive, NTR stole the show in Dammu function. He did not forget to recite some dialogues from the film, giving his fans what they want.
Pawan could barely utter his dialogue during Panjaa audio function. Mahesh Babu shied away from such an attempt during Dookudu function. NTR’s experience as a public speaker during the 209 elections also seem to have turned him into a good orator.
Will his mass image get a boost with Dammu? We will have to wait and see.
