From the reel world, to the real one. After a series of tweets about movies in the past few days, Pawan Kalyan today tweeted about the suffering of the people of Uddanam in Srikakulam district.
On the eve of his visit, the actor-turned-politician released a documentary on behalf of his Janasena Party about the health problems faced by the people of Uddanam in Srikakulam district. The short film portrays the locals of the area who have been victims of kidney failure due to lack of basic facilities.
Releasing the documentary, Pawan said his party team visited the area, studies the problem being faced by the people and made the film. Government should now at least respond to the problems, after watching the film titled ‘Experience of Kidney Patients @ Ichchapuram’.
Pawan is visiting the area on Tuesday and will speak to the locals on the issue. He is already in Visakhapatnam. More than 20,000 people died of kidney disease here for unknown reasons, he said, alleging that successive governments failed to address this issue.
