Ram Charan Teja may be doing the most prestigious project Zanjeer, but he would like to do a DDLJ, if he gets a chance. That is because his fiance Upasana is a huge fan of Yash Chopra. “At some point, I would like to do a movie like DDLJ but with more action for Upasana” Ram Charan said.
Ram Charan also loves Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s work and hopes to work with him one day. The actor who Rachca is doing well at the box office, says he is good at Hindi. But my Hindi has lot of Hyderabadi influence and I have to polish it for Hindi audiences, he says.
The actor is a little nervous at assaying a role played by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, but he feels he works well under pressure. He was very happy to hear Zanjeer director Apoorva Lakhia call him the next angry man of Hindi cinema.
