Chandrababu’s electoral prospects may continue to be bleak, but his information gathering skills and organizational capabilities are still impeccable.
According to the TDP chief, elections to 7 vacant seats including 6 in Telangana will not be clubbed with assembly elections in various states scheduled for February and March. Naidu reportedly told his men tha taccording to information from Delhi, the polls to these vacant seats would be held only in April.
It is also unlikely that the Speaker will take a decision on the disqualification petition of YSR Congress loyal MLAs in the near future, according to Chandrababu Naidu. The decision will be delayed to ensure that the Telangana by-polls and Jagan MLA by-polls do not coincide, Naidu told his colleagues as the thinking of Congress in Delhi.
Interestingly, even YSR Congress leader share the same view that the Congress will take all the time in world to decide on disqualification petitions.
Chandrababu Naidu also reportedly said that the by-polls for 16 or 17 seats are likely to take place in August next year.
