TRS reacted sharply to Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy’s statement at Allagadda on Thursday that Jagan was in cahoots with KCR, who is bent on dividing the state. Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan, TRS leader Vinod Kumar found fault with the CM for trying to mislead the people of Andhra and Rayalaseema for narrow political interests.

“We condemn the statement by the Chief Minister. The Congress Party is playing dirty politics for votes in Seemandra. The TRS had always been against the late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and would remain so to his son too,” the former MP said.

Countering Kiran’s campaign, the TRS leader said that it was the CM and the government, who seem to have a covert understanding with Jagan. The charge-sheets filed by the CBI till now have not sought the arrest of Jagan, which is an indication of the government’s mind in this regard, he alleged.
