BSNL on Saturday announced a new Rs 144 plan for its customers, competing with Reliance Jio.
The plan offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network for a period of one month. It also comes with 300MB of free data usage, BSNL chairman and managing director Anupam Srivastava said in Chennai. The new plan would be available for both prepaid and postpaid customers, he said.
The telecom service provider was also taking up several initiatives, including the launch of 4,400 WiFi hotspots across the country.
