A complaint against C M Ramesh, TDP Rajya Sabha candidate, was made by Seshaiah Naidu Company to Election Commissioner Bhanwar Lal that the former had hidden a case filed against him in Amberpet Police Station in Hyderabad in the election affidavit.
A representative of the Seshaiah Naidu Company claimed that C M Ramesh’s Ritwik Projects owed them Rs 4.5 crore. When the company failed to pay up, they went to court, which directed the police to register a case in 2011.
C M Ramesh, however, clarified that he was not in the know of any pending case against him, and in any case, registering an FIR would not affect his candidature for Rajya Sabha.
