Dumped by the high command, K Keshava Rao has tried to put up a brave face. Speaking to reporters in Delhi on Monday, KK said he did not expect the leadership would nominate him, when he was criticizing the party policies.
Projecting himself as a separate state champion, KK did not lose the opportunity to warn that the Congress would not be able to go back on Telangana even in the future.
Hinting that Palvai and Renuka Chowdary got the nomination because of their ‘neutrality’ on Telangana, he called upon them to work for Telangana and advised them not to come in the way of the separate state.
On the whole, KK’s made an attempt to convey that he had ended up as a martyr for Telangana cause.
