Ruling YSR Congress Party ensured that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu could not go ahead with his north Andhra tour. Using both party cadre and police, the Jagan Mohan Reddy government stalled Naidu from proceeding with his tour. After a day-long drama, Chandrababu Naidu, who was not allowed to move out of Vizag Airport premises, had to finally take a flight back to Hyderabad on the insistence of police officials.
Police issued a notice under Section 151, claiming that Chandrababu Naidu’s visit would cause law and order problem and hence his visit was being cancelled. Now, Chandrababu found himself in the other boat.
