Comedian-turned-hero Sunil is in good demand. His recent release Poola Rangadu has given him a real break as a hero. His total commitment for the film, for which he worked hard to transform his over-sized bodyinto a six-pack was much appreciated by the industry.
Sunil has two new films on hand as a hero. Ramudu weds Sita, a remake of Hindi Tanu weds Manu is already on the sets. Now, Suresh Productions has also roped him for a film. The fact that veteran producer Suresh Babu thought it fit to make a film with Sunil as hero indicates his new-found box-office value.
Directed by Uday Shankar with music composed by Mani Sharma, the film will make use of Sunil’s talent in action, dance and comedy. Hero Venkatesh gave clap to the yet untitled film on Saturday.
The four-films-old hero is now commanding a price of Rs 3 crore, according to industry sources.
