Chiranjeevi has turned into a iron leg for Congress Party, ridiculed YSR Congress Party leader Gone Prakash Rao. He said that despite Chiranjeevi’s campaign in Kovur, the party came in third place and secured 30,000 votes less than the Congress and PRP together got earlier.
Pointing out that Chiranjeevi has absolutely no support of the public and his ability to draw votes are next to nil, Gone challenged Chiru to field one of his family members in Tirupati and ensure their victory.
The maverick leader also made fun of senior Congress leaders like KK and DL, who seem to have got ‘enlightenment’ in the new year. “These leaders who spoke very poorly of Jagan now say that YSR Congress will win all 18 seats in the next by-polls. They themselves concede that Congress would be a poor second or third in these elections,” he said.
