Former minister T Jeevan Reddy is said to be one of the likely Congress leaders waiting to join YSR Congress Party. His statements on Wednesday defending the late YSR in the CBI case have to be seen this backdrop.
Jeevan Reddy not only found fault with Congress Party for painting YSR in the ongoing investigation, he also echoed Jagan Mohan Reddy in accusing Chandrababu Naidu as the one who should be booked for Emaar scam.
The five times MLA from Karimnagar was an active proponent of Telangana till he was accommodated in the cabinet by YSR. He has been lying low since he lost the 2009 polls, making statements on separate state once in a while.
However, the former TDP leader is said to have been in touch with Jagan’s Party, and is considered as one of the prominent leaders waiting for the right time to formally join the YSR Congress Party.
It is in this backdrop that Jeevan Reddy is castigating both Congress Party and Chandrababu Naidu and defending YSR and Jagan. Many such leaders are likely to come out after Parakala by-poll to support Jagan, according to YSR Congress Party leaders.
