AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Monday reached Japan’s Kansai International Airport for a 5-day tour of the country to attract investments. The CM and his delegation immediately drove to Kyoto, where they met Yanmar company director Naoki Kobayashi. Increasing the yield of rice per acre was the main point of discussion. Babu invited them to come to AP and set up a manufacturing plant.
The delegation then met NIDEC board. Chairman of NIDEC Shihenobu Naga Nori, who received the delegation, minced no words in expressing his bad experience doing business in India. Chandrababu explained that things had changed and he would give all approvals in a week’s time. Babu gave a presentation in both Japanese and English to the board.
