A technical committee is visiting Vijayawada on 19 and 20 of this month to visit the proposed location for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Andhra Pradesh. According to Kamineni Srinivas, Minister for Health, the four member team, under the leadership of of Dr Ajay Danny, superintendent of Raipur AIIMS, will reach Vijayawada on 19 and visit the location near Mangalagiri on December 20. AP AIIMS will come up in 193 acres near Mangalagiri at a cost of Rs 200 cr.
