All the three films, which released this week and looked forward with interest by cine buffs, have failed to give a kick to the audience in theaters.
Nippu, an action comedy, Lover Failure, a romantic comedy and Poolarangadu, a comic caper have left the viewers high and dry for want of an engaging script and entertaining format.
Nippu presented by the trio YVS Chowdary, Guna Sekhar and Raviteja, was expected to set screens on fire, but the film could barely excite the audience with its run-of-the-mill stuff.
Poolarangadu, starring comedian Sunil as hero, billed as his most ambitious take at being a mass hero, had some wow moments in the film with his six-pack body, but otherwise is being dismissed as passable fare.
Lover boy Siddarth had very high hopes over Love Failure so much so that he turned producer with this film. But the audience verdict has been one of weary deja vu. The direction is sloppy, music average and Siddarth was certainly looking jaded as a lover, as if destined to fail.
Looks like Mahesh’s Businessman, in itself a half-baked film, will have no competition at the box office for some time to come with Venkatesh’s Bodyguard too getting lukewarm response.
