Chiranjeevi probably for the first time publicly talked about the media reports about the split within his family. Speaking at the audio launch function of Gabbar Singh at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on Sunday evening, Chiru rubbished the reports that the brothers had any differences.
Giving detailed explanation about Ram Charan Teja’s absence at the function, Chiranjeevi told the gathering that the young hero was in Mumbai for the shooting of his Hindi debut Zanjeer and hence could not make it to the function. He said that Charan had sent his best wishes for the film.
Chiranjeevi asked the media not to write speculative stories about Charan’s absence at the audio launch. “I told you the truth. Don’t write things like Mega brothers have problems or that Charan chose not to attend. We don’t tell you lies. Last time, when Pawan could not attend Rachcha function as he was away, there were all kinds of investigative stories. They said Pawan was present in a function a couple of days after that etc. The truth is Pawan returned only after the function day. His visa stamping would show that. So don’t indulge in our character assassination,” Chiranjeevi said.
