Chiranjeevi is expecting ministerial berths in the state cabinet for three of his MLAs. Speaking to reporters on Tuesday in New Delhi, Chiranjeevi said he was not demanding anything from the Congress.
But if I were to have a choice, I would like to have at least three berths in the cabinet to accommadate all the three regions in the state. Chiru said.
The former PRP president has been making several trips to Delhi to finalize the positions for his men for some time now. However, various hurdles have been coming in the way of a final decision for the Congress high command.
Chiranjeevi was reportedly offered a Union Minister of State at the Centre, but Chiru was advised by his men that the position was below his stature. Since then, he has been talking about getting a position in tune with his stature.
Meanwhile, he made efforts to get an important portfolio in the state cabinet, but he was not successful.
