Film producer Bandla Ganesh is benami of PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana, alleged Varla Ramaiah, TDP leader. Ganesh, earlier a comedian who played bit roles in several films, later turned into a big ticket producer, having made high budget films. Presently, he is producing Pavan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh to be released on May 30.
Earlier, he produced films like Anjeneyulu with Ravi Teja and Teenmaar with Pavan Kalyan.
Ramaiah said that Botsa has been laundering his ill-gotten wealth through Bandla Ganesh, who has been producing films without a break. He showed a video clipping of Bandla Ganesh singing praises to Botsa Satyanarayana. “He is not my friend or relative. He doesn’t belong to my region. But without his support, I am a nobody. He would probably forgive me even if I murder somebody,” Bandla Ganesh said in the clipping.
The TDP leader claimed that Ganesh with the help of Botsa grabbed more than 2,000 acres of assignment land belonging to STs. He said that since the Home Minister herself was involved in various illegal land deals, nobody in the government seemed to be bothered about the misuse of power for large-scale corruption.
