Jagan Mohan Reddy has made a sensational statement Tuesday during his campaign at Jammalamadaka in Guntur district. “I will be arrested in two- three days,” he announced.
Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, DGP Dinesh Reddy, Congres central leader Vayalar Ravi and CBI officials held consultations with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in this regard a few days back, he alleged.
According to the besieged YSR Congress Party president, the Congress and the TDP would instigate riots following his arrest to create unrest and postpone the by-polls scheduled for June 12.
There has been speculation for some time now that Jagan is likely to be taken into custody by the CBI when he makes his scheduled appearance on 28th of this month before the Nampally CBI court to face charges of quid pro quo in the first charge sheet.
Jagan alleged that the Delhi Congress bigwigs had conspired with Chandrababu Naidu to stall his certain victorious march in the ensuing by-polls. The young leader, speaking at Jammalamadaka claimed that he came to know of this conspiracy a little while ago.
