The letter said to be written by Botsa Satyanarayana to Congress Party chief Sonia Gandhi against Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has completely exposed the chinks in the ruling party’s armour.
The PCC chief’s letter was dashed off to Delhi on March 30, but was leaked to the press on Monday. In the letter, Botsa took strong exception to the ACB raids on liquor syndicates which was “causing severe damage to the party and the government”.
It may be recalled that Botsa has been furious following thedefamation notice served by a CI in ACB against his boss in Hyderabad alleging that the latter was forcing him to drag the PCC Chief’s and his family’s name into the liquor syndicate corruption in Viziangaram district.
“In my humble opinion, the issue has severe long term ramifications on the party affairs in the state,” Botsa wrote in his cover letter.
However, the letter is neither on the Gandhi Bhavan letter head nor is signed.
It is in the backdrop of this damning letter that the PCC chief was called to Delhi today. CM Kiran was also summoned by Delhi to visit on Wednesday.
Looks like the tug of war between Botsa and Kiran reaching climax.
