The Anantapur Sessions Court convicted four accused including Dantuluri Krishna alias Mangali Krishna in the suit case bomb blast case. The case relates to the failed attempt to kill TDP leader Paritala Ravi in Anantpur.
The court convicted Krishna, Ramachandra Reddy, Madhusudana Reddy and Sudhir Reddy of aiding and abetting the incident and confirmed 5 years imprisonment to them.
While the case was filed against 14 persons, as many as four of them died during the long court proceedings. The court dismissed case against six, while confirming the role of four persons.
Incidentally, Mangali Krishna’s name hit the headlines recently following Bhanu Kiran’s revelations that Krishna was benami for some of his properties. Police investigating Bhanu case also found that Krishna provided him with weapons also.
