Actor Shahrukh Khan said that his mother was born in Hyderabad, while his father was an expert in Urdu. Addressing the students of Maulana Azad National Urdu University after receiving honorary doctorate from Maulana Azad National Urdu University, he advised them to do anything in life with diligence. Quoting examples from his own life, Shahrukh said that one should learn from every small thing. He recalled his family gave him a chess board, a typewriter and a camera during his childhood. Using them, he had learnt a lot of qualities, including planning, diligence, sacrifice, hard work and dedication. He also told the students to have a sense of humor to get along with life without too much hassle.
