The competition for Rajya Sabha nomination is intense in the Congress Party, which can pick four candidates from Andhra Pradesh.

K Keshava Rao, Sanjiva Reddy (INTUC), Dasari Narayana Rao and Rashid Alvi (Uttar Pradesh have just completed their term.
