Out of 17 constituencies that will go to poll as a result of disqualification of MLAs loyal to Jagan, YSR Congress is likely to lose in 3 of them, according to the survey conducted at the behest of Congress Party.
The survey was conducted between December 17 to 20 of 2011 in these constituencies by Foundation for Rural and Social Development (FRSD), Secunderabad.
Congress is a position to win in Narasannapet, Ramachandrapuram and Narsapurm, according to this report.
TDP is in second position in Kodur, Rayachoti, Macherla and Prathipadu constituencies.
YSR Congress is leading in 14 constituencies and is in second position in rest of them.
Interestingly, unlike in Telangana, where TRS is leading by huge margins in most of the places, YSR Congress does not seem to enjoy much difference between its candidates and the runners up.
TDP is also not too far behind the front runners in Andhra and Rayalaseema unlike in Telangana, where the party needs to do a lot of catching up.
On the while, this survey conducted by Congess Party seems to give hope to the Kiran Kumar Reddy government, as it is not doing as badly as projected.
With a little more push, the party can hope to upset the applecarts of both TRS and YSR Congress Party.
