The Telugu software employee of Infosys, who was held hostage along with many others at an Australian cafe by a terrorist,Viswakant Ankireddy, was evacuated safely. Police confirmed that siege was over after more than 16 hours. and according to reports, the two Indians who were held hostage, were safe. Loud bangs were heard as police stormed cafe. Unconfirmed reports say that 2 hostages were killed in the crossfire.
