Congress Telangana MPs, who were suspended from Lok Sabha following their protests, have made BJP responsible for the action in the House. They accused BJP floor leader Sushma Swaraj of instigating their suspension from the House.
The T Congress leaders including Ponnam Prabhakar and 7 others were suspended for 4 days for disrupting the proceedings of the House in a first of its kind move for ruling party members. On Thursday, the suspended MPs continued their protest at Gate No I of the Parliament.
But what is interesting is that they have changed their stand and blamed BJP for the ‘murder of democracy’. The new chorus apparently is to deflect the Congress leadership wrath against them. By attacking BJP, the T Congress MPs hope to get back into the good books of the party leadership.
In any case, the T Congress is worried over the increasing voice of BJP in Telangana region. Blaming the BJP thus will serve T Congress MPs in every way.
