Talasani Srinivas Yadav has resigned from Telugu Desam Party and as MLA from Sanath Nagar. Talasani, who recently joined TRS, was later sworn in a Minister in KCR’s cabinet.
In view of the legal complications that may arise out of making Talasani a Minister, TRS leadership is learnt to have asked the MLA to resign from TDP as well as MLA.
Talasani will now have to be re-elected as MLA within a period of 6 months to be able to continue as Minister. Speaking to reporters after he submitted his resignation to the Telagnana Assembly Speaker, Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that contesting and winning in elections was not new to him.
