TRS Party withdrew its court case against Lanco Hills in favour of Lagadapati Rajagopal, the TDP has alleged. The party Telangana MLAs forum Errabelli Dayakar Rao said that this was the latest instance of TRS colluding with Congress Party in return for favours.
TRS had earlier filed a case in a city court alleging that the Lanco Hills land originally belonged to Wakf Board. The party also politically used the issue, accusing Rajagopal of illegally occupying Telagnana lands.
Speaking at NTR Trust Bhavan today, Dayakar Rao lashed out at TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram for acting as ‘agent’ of TRS and KCR, despite the fact that the latter always compromised Telangana cause in return for favours, such as Polavaram contract.
“Can you tell the people of Telangana one instance of TDP making use of Telangana issue for its political aggrandizement, like the TRS or the Congress?” he questioned Kodandaram.
The JAC chairman goes around the offices and residences of TRS and Congress parties and their leaders even though it was these two parties that betrayed Telangana. TRS has been extorting money in the name of Telangana, but Kodandaram has no problem with all this, he alleged.
The TDP’s latest attack against Kodandaram seems to have been provoked by the JAC leader’s recent statement that the people of Telangana should question Chandrababu Naidu during his visits to the region.
