TRS will sweep the upcoming by-polls in Telagnana, according to a survey published by Namasthe Telangana paper. The opinion poll was conducted by Centurion Data Strategies. However, it was not mentioned at whose behest the survey was undertaken.
The separatist party will rake in 53.2 per cent of all votes polled in Telangana, if elections were to be held today, according to the survey. Congress and TDP will lose deposits as they would 17.8 and 15.2 per cent of votes respectively. BJP does not seem to have benefited much from its pro-Telangana stand, as it would get a mere 0.3 per cent.
TRS will get the highest percentage of votes in Kollapur with a 16 per cent lead. Jupalli Krishna Rao, who resigned to Congress and joined TRS is contesting here.
There is an overwhelming support in favour of TRS and separate Telangana in all constituencies, says CDS head Vivek.
