Vijaya Sai Reddy

Vijaya Sai Reddy, who was released from jail following his bail on Monday, wants to get into politics. The Jagan auditor, who has been in the limelight for some time now following the CBI cases against YSR Congress Party chief, is looking to a career in politics. Having been the only one being jailed in the CBI case against Jagan, Sai Reddy has been continuously in the news for months now.

The close confidante of late YSR and now Jagan says that he had always been a loyal follower of Rajasekhara Reddy family. He has been dealing with business affairs of YSR family for the last 30 years and claimed that neither Jagan nor he had committed anything wrong in financial affairs. He also rejected the allegations that he played a key role in securing investments from shell companies. He expressed his confidence that Jagan and himself would come out clean on the allegations.

The vice-president of Jagathi Publications recalled his association with YSR family and said that he got to know of YSR family through his father-in-law after his marriage and since then he had been with them.

Talking about his experiences in Chanchalguda jail, he said any prisoner could only do two things in jail: reading and exercise. He, however, disclosed that he learned quite a lot about the problems being faced by prisoners, especially with regard to remuneration paid to them. He said he was planning to approach court on this issue on behalf of prisoners in jails.

He said he had learned quite a lot about politics from late YSR. After discussing in detail with Jagan, Vijaya Sai Reddy said he will seriously consider to be in active politics.
